Description
Product Overview
The Matica MC310 Dual-Sided is the most capable printer in the MC series and the model to choose when card printing and access control are the same project. Both faces print automatically, and encoding is part of the platform rather than an afterthought.
ISO7811 magnetic stripe and dual-interface smart card encoders handle contact and contactless credentials from one device, writing data in the same pass that prints the card. For an organisation issuing badges that unlock doors or clock attendance, that removes an entire separate step from the workflow.
Throughput is solid rather than record-breaking: up to 180 colour cards per hour, and 850 in monochrome. Ethernet is standard so the printer serves the whole office over the network, with Wi-Fi available as an option.
Allow proper bench space – at 453 mm long and around 10 kg it is larger than a typical desktop printer. In exchange you get a four-year limited depot warranty and broad operating system support across Windows, Linux and macOS.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Matica MC110, MC210 and MC310?
All three print at 300 dpi. The MC110 is entry-level with optional Ethernet. The MC210 is fastest in monochrome at 1,000 cards per hour. The MC310 offers the broadest encoding, including dual-interface smart cards.
Can the MC310 encode access-control cards?
Yes. It supports ISO7811 magnetic stripe encoding and dual-interface smart card encoding, covering both contact and contactless credentials in one device.
Does the MC310 support network printing?
Yes. Ethernet is standard and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g is optional, so multiple workstations can print without a dedicated host PC.
How fast is the MC310 dual-sided?
Up to 180 full-colour cards per hour in batch mode and up to 850 cards per hour in monochrome. Dual-sided cards take roughly twice as long as single-sided.
What warranty does the Matica MC310 carry?
A four-year limited depot warranty, notably longer than the two to three years typical of competing direct-to-card printers.
